The Tranquilists
(Serendahl and Uldrun are at peace.)
Core Belief:
The story of the Curse is a misunderstanding.
Serendahl never bound Uldrun — she simply balanced him, and he chose stillness willingly.
Their unity sustains the world: his patience, her symmetry.
Tranquilists teach that both deities embody the same serenity at different scales —
Uldrun the calm of the earth, Serendahl the calm of the moment.
Conflict between them is a mortal projection.
Doctrine:
• “Peace is not imposed; it is agreed upon.”
• “All rest is chosen, even divine rest.”
• “The tremor and the coincidence are the same sigh.”
Attitude Toward Troll Faiths:
They pity the trolls for mistaking cooperation for tragedy.
To them, the Cleftwrights and Pulsewrights are both children of grief, trying to repair a peace that never broke.
Tone & Practice:
Quiet contemplation, interfaith dialogue, pilgrimage to listen at fault lines.
Their temples are half-buried domes open to the sky — architecture that “breathes.”
Summary:
“Serendahl did not curse the titan. She holds his hand.”
